In BOH operations, sink and drainage design directly impacts hygiene, speed, and end-of-day cleanup. A good wash zone isn’t just “a sink”—it’s a complete system: splash control, water routing, drain logic, and easy-access maintenance.
Scope
- Hand sinks, prep sinks, and multi-compartment sink stations
- Dump sinks, rinse points, and pre-rinse spray setups (as required)
- Drainboards, splashbacks, and wet-zone wall protection
- Floor drains / trench drain coordination and routing logic
- Grease management prep (interfaces and access points, where applicable)
What We Focus On
- Splash control: backsplash height, guard rails, and practical wet-zone detailing
- Drain logic: water flow direction, drainboard slope, and “no standing water” design
- Fast cleaning: smooth radii, tidy corners, fewer dirt traps
- Service access: easy-to-reach traps, clean-outs, and maintenance points
- Workflow zoning: keep dirty-to-clean movement clear and repeatable
Deliverables
- Sink station drawings + key details for sign-off
- Drainboard / slope and junction detailing notes
- Installation reference for drain alignment and maintenance access
- Fabrication finishing standards for hygiene and durability
Result
A wash zone that drains properly, cleans down faster, and stays reliable under daily high-frequency use—supporting consistent sanitation routines.
